Zone mode in Wipeout HD puts you on a psychedelic track that propels you faster and faster until you explode from having lost all your energy hitting the sides and falling off the track. The goal is to last as long as you can at the increasing speeds. I don’t know if anyone other than the actual developers knew that there are “Mach 1” and “Supersonic” speed levels in the game. “AllGamer” posted the above video which is his 101 SUPERSONIC zone mode up on NeoGaf for us to marvel.
