What games are you playing right now?

Since it’s October, I’m trying to do a Spooktober them.  I’m not a fan of horror, but picking a few games that have the Suspense, Horror, and Comical Spooktober theme.

The Darkness
Earth Defense Force 2017.

I do not want Trophies, Money or not even a title saying I am number "1". You can have your cheap trophies, paper titles, and dingy headbands. I am a "STORY" to my peers, a "LEGEND" for your kids to hear, and a "FOLKLORE" to keep you from dying with fear - Chauncy "TRU" Talon.

Yo I just finally bought resistance fall of man. The Darkness is dope.

I was thinking about replaying Catherine but the full body version haaa

I also have resident evil village or RE7.

I also have the Splatterhouse Grafitti game for famicom I got but never played 👀

I played Catherine a long time ago.  Man, that game made me feel so uncomfortable due to the story.  I did it because a viewer donated like $30 for me to buy it but I already own it.

I’m jumping between too many games.  Resistance, and Secret of Mana [SNES] is on rotation.  I should play the Secret of Mana remake . I heard it’s way better, faster pace story, and like 5 hours less time.

The updated version is even more crazy with the new characters backstory. I just find it funny that dudes cheating get pulled in the nightmare. 🤣

Currently playing Silver Pines.

Never heard of it until I saw some reviews last week.

It’s a Silent Hill/Alan Wake esque Survival-Horror Metroidvania.

It’s definitely a slow paced game, but the story has been interesting with some odd and mysterious characters.

The world design is typical Metroidvania fare. More areas open up when you obtain different abilities and weapons etc.

Puzzles are decent too.

Overall, it’s been a really good surprise that came out of nowhere.

I’m trying to get it finished up before I start the new Castlevania.

That shit was wild as hell.  I love the concept, but the decision you make it too wild.  It took a while for me to grasp the puzzle concept.  It took me almost 2-3 hours just to beat the first level.  THen it all clicked.

They’re used to be a competitive scene for Catherine in SoCal
