Filed this under “WHY?”. Having personally owned a Sega Master System and later wanting to kick myself in the nuts for getting it instead of a NES (which I later got) I will say that overall the games were not all that great. Many of the few that were good like Outrun, Forgotten Worlds and After Burner an such have been redone and are better. I guess the only game I would rather play the old version of is Alien Syndrome. I could never beat that game and the new Alien Syndrome for Wii sucked.
According to Joystiq the first Sega Master System games to be released will be Fist of the North Star for 600 points and Fantasy Zone for 500 points. They will be hitting Japan first in February.
