Konami had their newly announced Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker HD Edition for PlayStation 3 on deck. The HD edition runs in full 1080P and fortunately does not look blocky. The textures are also upgraded to match the 1080P visuals though do not expect Metal Gear Solid 4 visuals as this is still a port. As you can see in the video below the game looks nice though it is still more akin to the visuals of an upgraded PS2 game like those in the God of War Collection as far as how it looks on the PlayStation 3.
The use of the right analog to control the camera makes a huge difference in terms of control. In the demo I played the triggers pulled up the item and weapons menus which makes sense for the PS3 version though might not work well for Xbox 360 players who are used to firing with the right trigger. Playstation 3 players are used to firing with the right bumper so that should not pose an issue.
Multiplayer co-op support apparently will be supported though no details were provided and it was not shown in the E3 demo.
