Gears of War 2 and Fallout 3 are the two best outta the four, hands down.

Gears of War 2 is better than CoD: WaW in every way possible. WaW has no story so I don’t know how anyone can say they like it for the story. And the online multiplayer is boring and repetitive. It’s the same thing as CoD 4… Gears 2 is still more squad based and more team work involved.

Don’t listen to the haters, it just takes some getting used to. But definatly more fun if you have a full team of friends to play with.

Left 4 Dead is great for about 20 hours or so, but after awhile you will get bored of the same missions over and over, I’m thinking about trading it in. Still, its a better choice than world at war.

But Gears 2 and Fallout 3 won’t be leaving my collection like CoD: WaW and probably L4D.

personally i have only played gears, and that was only briefly

but tbh honest if i played the 2 i think i’d end up preferring gears of war 2, but i really can’t say for sure right now

you see if this was typed earlier today, it may have swayed my decisions towards gears of war 2, cos like i played it briefly before my xbox fail’t me, and i enjoyed horde alot, i remember me and you actuallt did horde with a team and got pretty damn far, that was dope, hmm, maybe i’ll pick up gears soon, if i manage to sell need for speed undercover and pro evolution

NOBODY I repeat NOBODY is playing Gears of War 2 anymore. It has no replay value beyond horde mode which gets lame as hell after you try it twice. If replay value matters to you don’t buy it. And yes, COD does have a story…as a matter of fact its hi-story. The game is based on actual historical events which I think makes it even more of an accomplishment in gaming. They re-created actual events from the lesser known (yet equally important) battles fought during WWII. Also, the multiplayer is HOT, once you get over the NOOB learning curve. Lets keep it real…who the hell is still playing Gears???

stop playing gears out its not a bad game maybe you should learn how to play mutiplayer it takes time but once you get the hang of it its a fun online experience

Nice try, but here I go now,

I’ve been playing Gears of War 2 just about every night since I beat the campaign months ago. And it hasn’t gotten boring. Also, I’ve been getting matches almost instantly now with the patch updates. So, I’d say the replay value is really high. Also it has stat sheets for online multiplayer. And it’s still more squad based than CoD.

…and by the way, Gears had a better story (even though I didn’t like it). World at War had RANDOM events. and I beat the whole campaign in a matter of hours (in one sitting, in one night). The campaign was an absolute mess of random sequences that didn’t deliver any thrills, it was a friggin snore fest, but w.e, some people have different taste I guess, I prefer holding down a location, shooting from cover, ducking behind shit and working with my team. not a bunch of nazi’s running around in random directions with a crappy presentation so you have no idea what is going on. seriously, world at war is a mess of a game.

The online mode is just as deep as Modern Warfare whereas Gears is well shite.
I’m sorry but i hate Gears, it’s a pile of wank and i’m glad i got rid of it.
COD on the other hand is something that will stay in your collection for a long time, well at least until Modern Warfare 2 is released near the end of the year.
Believe me if you like online shooters then out of these two games, COD is the way to go.

Gears just take time to get good at if you are always getting killed dont give up just keep practicing in COD its so easy to be good at i got good at it in a couple of hours its so them easy

i thought when we was doing horde that time it was pretty fun to be honest, if i had a headset i would have tried to make it more fun, but even without one i enjoyed playing it

I admit that when the game was first released i enjoyed running horde with people on the site, it just got old too fast. I just wanted to get rid of it, and i haven’t missed it at all since i did. Played a hell of alot better games since.
