The highly anticipated, successor to the Dualshock 2 has finally arrive in the US. Sony has finally delivered on, the wishes of many of it’s customers which was to bring rumble back, despite Sony’s earlier claims that rumble was a “last-gen feature”. The Dualshock 3 is excatly the same design as the Sixaxis controller but it is different of course. The Dualshock 3, compared to the Sixaxis controller is noticeably more heavier and sturdy, and non transparent like the Sixaxis is.

Pros

-A Playstation 3 controller with the incorporation of Rumble.
-Heavier and more Sturdy.
-Equal Battery Life as Sixaxis.
-Majority of popular titles added rumble support via downloadable patches.

Cons

-No removable battery
-Doesn’t come with a USB cable for recharging the controller
–Overpriced (Cheaper at Walmart)

Overall

Although, the rumble support should have been here since day one, the Dualshock 3 is proof that Sony listens and strides to give their customer the best gaming experience possible.
