At the Playstation Meeting 2011 Sony announced a hardware neutral game framework called PlayStation Suite. This framework will be compatible with Android and other select hardware devices. This framework will be able to emulate original PlayStation games. To support this a PlayStation Store will launch on Android devices.
Also launching with this will be a new program, called “PlayStation Certified” which will function to ensure PlayStaiton quality across various devices choice among the preferred hardware compatible with this PlayStation Suite.
