Let’s have a debate.

Which one is best? Take into account things like future of the system, current lineup, future lineup, exclusives, hardware capabilities and whatnot and compare that to the other consoles.

If you can provide a legitimate reason for your claim, feel free to enter, fanboy or not. But don’t post unless you have an actual argument FOR your console of choice.

XBox 360

Ill tell you why:

1. The online community is incredible, PS3’s online community is seriously lacking, which is why at one moment in time Microsoft was actually connecting PS3 players on COD with the XBox ones because the PS3 players dont get near the online experience

2. Games….360 seems to have better games that ONLY come out for 360 than PS3 has that ONLY come out for PS3…with the exception of MGS4, but even the games that come out for both are better for xbox, why? because of the online community once again, same for Wii

3. graphics….now the PS3 is right there on graphics, no debating that, but thats why 360 beats the Wii

4. Online community again…lets face it, the online community makes the system now-a-days, if not you would be bored with a game right after you beat it….

I’m sorry but i wouldn’t even mention the wii in the same sentence as the ps3 or 360, it’s just not in the same league.

The 360 is better at the moment because like J said, the online community is incredible. Plus the games are alot better.
The only exclusive games i really love on the PS3 is Uncharted: Drakes Fortune and Metal Gear Solid 4

I’ll have to agree with you guys and say Xbox 360.

1. The games are better for the 360, not only does it have ALL the good third party games and multiplatform games but it also has the best exclusive games as well. Not to mention, all the best exclusives that Sony used to have such as Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy, and GTA are all on 360 as well, some with additional content! Talk about taking away from the competition…

2. The online layout and community is so much more vast and organized than the other consoles, especially in comparison to the Wii. This makes the games for 360 even better then they already are.

3. The future for the console looks amazing…the Fall line up alone is simply mindblowing. Look at the Fall line up of JUST exclusives…

Not to mention all the sick multiplatform games that are coming out simultaneously.

PS3 really only has Uncharted and MGS4. Aside from Resistance 2, it has nothing that’s even fucking with 360s fall lineup. Especially Gears of War 2… that game will sell unbelievably, not to mention the fact that it’ll be the best game graphically to ever exist and the fact that nothing will fuck with it graphically til Resident Evil 5 drops. Even so, they both have their own graphic style and I think the way GOW2 graphics look are unmatched. Not to mention the first one is my favorite game ever and the second one looks even better in every way, I know it’ll overtake GOW1 as my favorite game ever.

Second best console I’d have to go with the Wii, I like the innovative controls and the classic first party games that are amazing like Metroid Prime 3, Super Paper Mario, SSBB, Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda Twilight Princess, Mario Kart, etc. The Wii is the perfect party system, the best for playing against friends in front of the same TV. Nothing is still quite as hilarious and fun as playing your friends in SSBB and Mario Kart and everyone just going crazy in a 4 player match. However, the downfall for the Wii is a lot of multiplatform games that are the better ones [and the worse ones] don’t get ported to Wii due to hardware limitations and the problem of too many foolish 3rd party developers trying to use the Wiimote in innovative ways and epic failing. Also, it seems the Wii has a serious game drought facing it for this year, they need another AAA title. Regardless, the Wii isn’t going anywhere, Nintendo is currently DOMINATING this generation with the Wii and the DS outselling everything else on a 2:1 or 3:1 basis OR MORE every single month.

The PS3 it seems is just taking loss after loss. First it’s announced DMC4 is going to 360 as well, then GTA4 comes to 360 with exclusive DLC, then FFXIII is announced which is their biggest franchise apart from MGS and God of War. Developers have consistently complained about how hard it is to develop for the PS3 and it’s lagging behind the others by AT LEAST about 3 million in sales. However, the PS3 did outsell the 360 by 200K in June , but considering that’s the month that MGS4, the PS3s biggest game dropped, it’s not very surprising but what is surprising is it STILL didn’t outsell Wii! Now when considering 360s Fall lineup, it’s obvious that PS3 should enjoy this last month while it still can because Fall looks like 360s gonna crush everyone with how many AAA titles it’s got coming out.

Look they all have problems. Mircosoft is doing there thang. Nintendo is still trying to be a family company since the Gamecube been released. So they not trying to bring nothing extremely hard like Manhunt 2 out anytime soon.

They supposedly won the HD DVD wars but really it has yet to make any sort of major difference because everyone still is using DVD and doesn’t wanna shell out all the $$ for Blu Ray player at the moment, it may factor in the future but as of right now it’s meaningless. 360 won the online content wars after they just bagged Netflix as exclusive and allow renting and buying of Netflix movies over 360.

I don’t really see how PS3 has more exclusives…I’m talking FALL. Because tons of games are announced a year or two in advance for PS3 is irrelevant because in 2009 and leading up to it 360 will continue to announce game after game while Sony has already revealed their hand. Little big planet comes out the end of october. I think its October 21st

yeah man the 360 still has the exclusive GTA IV episodes and Castle Crashers which wil be bananas …. oh and More portal and Left 4 Dead which are both 360 exclusives.
