Can anyone help me on how to hook up my Ps3 to become wireless?

that shit is confusing

nah..Microsoft is good to me…i called and complained about the lost time from the outage and when they forgot to send me a free month of live with my “refurbished” 360..

so im gettin 2 free months of live…even tho i already bought a year on the 2nd of January…now i have 2 extra months to last me til march or april of 2009…

and i thought i was doing everything right, but at the end it says it cant find an IP address

probly ur firewall, call up sony customer service or go on the sony forums they can help

ok..well…i kno nothing about the ps3 wireless setup..but i would imagine its the same as 360..if u have an “automatic” option when in the IP menu…use it…it automatically assigns an IP address the console which should prevent the problem…

if that doesnt work..id call sony support

Look this is how it works. First off move your XMB to settings and go all the way down to Network Settings. Make sure the Internet Connection is Enabled. Then go to Internet Connection Settings. When you click on it ist should read “If you perform Internet connection settings, the system will be disconnected.” Click Yes. Click Custom, Then to Wireless, Scan WLAN and then it should pick up your router. SSID move right on the D-Pad password if you got it and then run a test.
