I have a plasma, but I heard that games burn shit in to the screen, for example life bars, power bars etc..

My plasma is HD, but I’m scitsie to set it up..

Is any one else here gaming HD?? Does it make much of a difference??

Nope i don’t have HD yet.
Too expensive, all it really is is a more vivid picture and colour as far as i know.

plazmas also loose their brillance over time and the colors get more washed out the longer you have them.

I have an LCD HDTV. Theres a huge difference between standard TV and HDTV…well unless your using a wii but for xbox 360 and ps3 its a HUGE difference. The detail, the colors plus hdtv’s are widescreen.

what is the cheapest 1080p good quality hdtv out there, I was trying to find one for atleast 6-7 be the ones I have been seeing are like 2gs and higher

check sams club, costco and bj’s. Those spots have great prices plus great return policies. Also check certain models on the internet before you buy. Make sure the TV has a shit load of inputs… multiple component, at least 1 hdmi and also a vga. Also make sure it has a good contrast ratio.

Co-Sign….I use a LCD HDTV and there is a huge difference….when I bought it I actually had to get used to shooting on COD again because it was so much more clear I was running into walls and missing targets cuz I wasnt aiming right at them….lmfao

I can co-sign that. I bought a new LCD HDTV a week and a half ago, and at first I was struggling with adjusting to it. Now I love it. So much more fun to play on.

you aint gonna find a 1080 for 6-7 hundred dollars unless its used or really small…best you gonna get for that price is a 720, 32″ or around there….you gonna have to pay about a grand at least, but make sure you check the tv first, because some of them leave streaks when things on the screen move too fast and it looks shitty

i have an hd lcd and the shits colors as busted as hell but the picture is mad good. huge step up from a standard def tv but its not necessary to have to enjoy 360 and ps3. if you cant afford it than its not worth going into debt and bad credit and all that but its nice to have
