Tired of Wii Sports Boxing? XSEED Games has announced that it will bring anime boxing title Hajime no Ippo: The Fighting Revolution to North America this fall as Victorious Boxers: Revolution. The pugilistic sim packs some 25 playable characters, with a fully-voiced story mode that packs in-game cut scenes inspired by the anime series upon which it is based.

Along with several unique venues (including those set in Las Vegas and Sydney), Revolution will feature three control options, including a Wii Remote/Nunchuk motion scheme (as in Wii Sports Boxing), a Pointer Mode that uses the pointer of the Wii Remote (along with light movements), and a more standard Classic Controller option. Victorious Boxers: Revolution is the third such title to hit the States, as Victorious Boxers: Ippo’s Road to Glory and Victorious Boxers 2: Fighting Spirit graced the PlayStation 2 in 2001 and 2006, respectively. Lol wow, Nawshus you think it looks that bad? Looks interesting to me, I haven’t played it’s predecessors but I may pick this title up. It comes complete with a story mode {Which Fight Night Needs}, and cut scenes with it, so it seems like it could be pretty cool. The anime style graphics also look very clean, not to mention they will be touched up a notch when brought to the Wii. Very interesting title, I think it has a chance to succeed as the first real boxing game for the Wii.

yea it reminds me of arcade punchout not the one on nintendo…. but the one where ya character was all green or on super punchout all blue…. I hope that shyt be hype no lie…..
