I’m looking forward to getting my copy on PS3, as i’ve said before i have to get that version because the controller is by far superior to the 360 one.

Anyway i’ve been contemplating buying an arcade stick and i found this one on amazon, but the price is ridiculous, something like £150, i found other ones that are less than £50 but i can’t see them being as good. This looks like the official capcom one. Anyway let me know what you think about it and tell what sticks you are wanting to get. I need ideas people.

hey scat, guess what…. real arcade sticks are expensive. lol Thats the way it is. If its not crap it will be”expensive” because it will have genuine arcade parts that are designed to take a beating and designed to last long. there is no way around that. Going cheap on arcade sticks is not worth it. you better off spending the dough since it will last.

I can’t play with the 360 controller on beat em ups full stop. The analogue is horrible and the dpad is even worse.
I think the PS3 has the best designed controller, thats why it’s always been the same right from the launch of the original playstation, well they added dual shock and analogue but i’m sure you know what i mean in terms of the design. It just feels alot more comfortable, and the dpad is easier to pull off moves. In my opinion anyway.

I suppose you’re right but even still £150 is a no no for me, i’ll happily get my ass beat by using the controller.

Yeah I know you mean about the designs of the controller as I never really had trouble pulling off moves on the d-pad until Street Fighter on 360.

I don’t see what you guys are complaining about, I acyually prefer the 360 controller. I haven’t been in an actual arcade in years so it’s really difficult for me to go back to joysticks.:mad:

I’m soooooo pissed off right now.
So i thought that with the new Street Fighter game getting released over here in the UK on friday, i thought i would get some practice in with my PS3 controller by downloading HD Remix, only to find out this shit still hasn’t been released on the UK PS Store yet.
I mean what the fuck capcom, UK 360 owners have had this since november so why 4 months down the line have you still not let PS3 owners have it aswel.
Damn man, i’ve been out all day and was looking forward to playing it, now i’m fucking annoyed.

I want to get that Standard Fightstick they are selling but there are reports that they are fucked up.

We shouldn’t be surprised that the standard stick is messed up. As far as I know, Capcom only worked with Madcatz on the premium stick.

Capcom actually worked with them on both sticks it’s just the fact that the Standard Stick is made more for people who can’t afford or don’t want to spend 150 dollars on an arcade stick.

Well i was pissed off about HD remix not being released over here so i thought fuck it and bought Street Fighter Alpha Warriors Dream off the PSN.
I just want to get used to using the PS3 pad, and i must say i could tell the difference. I was pulling off moves with alot more ease and fucking up the CPU.
I’ll be raping this game all week now getting ready for Friday.
Just hope i got the cash to get it on release day.

yeah alot of people are saying that many of the standard edition sticks out are defective. some joysticks are not functioning properly and sticking in directions etc…
