Want a frightening twist to give you some chills for the hot summer nights? Then Sony could just possibly have you covered today, as its survival horror remake hits the PlayStation Store today. Siren: Blood Curse is the episodic remake of the PS2 title, and on the PlayStation.Blog, Tsubasa Inaba, the Producer of the title, gave a few details about the game. Blood Curse is the tale of an American TV crew in Japan shooting a documentary about a village that disappeared thirty years before. However, as soon as the crew arrives, they discover that things are not as they appear, including a strange ritual, odd occurrences with the inhabitants and other confusing and horrific events.
Players take on the role of seven different characters that experience the events of the game in different ways, including the sight jacking system, which lets players take over the perspective of different characters and even the undead monsters in the village. Inaba mentioned in his post that players will be able to purchase the title later today in twelve episodes akin to that of a TV show. Blood Curse will be available in three “four-episode packs” for $14.99 or the entire bundle for $39.99. While Inaba didn’t mention whether the game would feature Trophy support in his post, he did mention that PS3 owners curious about the title can check out the demo on the store. Today’s release will also be supported with an additional wallpaper and a theme download, with more wallpapers coming next week.

Not sure if this has been released on the UK store yet because i haven’t been on the PS3 today yet. I really need another survival horror game because i love them. Saying that though, you can never been too sure if they are good or not, so i’ll check the demo out first.

Pretty pissed off to be honest.
Basically on the UK Playstation store and the US one i’m guessing, you can either buy the game as a whole. In the UK it costs £19.99. Or you can buy each individual chapter. each costing £6.99.
However when you buy the whole game. It’s not just one big download.
No. You have to download each individual episode. There are 12 episodes all together. 4 Chapters, each containing 3 episodes. Now each episode can be anywhere between 500 and 1500 mb. So for 12 episodes thats quite alot of gigs to download. So not only do you have to wait for each individual episode to finish downloading, which takes ages. You then have to install each individual episode onto the hard drive. This again takes ages.So i bought the game at around 8:15pm and it’s took over 3 hours just to download 4 episodes. I got 8 more to go and then have to do all the installations.
