Just watched the 16 minute extended edition of Avatar on Blu-Ray. Probably one of my favourite films of the last few years. Looks gorgeous in 1080p and it’s still a great film without the 3D.
I think the social commentary is excellent and really hits home about the mind sets of some of these nations. One in particular lol.

The real Yip Man, Yip Kai Man, (叶问), was born in 1893 and died in 1972, and is considered the first martial arts master to teach the Chinese martial art of Wing Chun openly. Many of his students later became teachers in their own right, among them Bruce Lee.
The Wing Chu style is said to have been founded by Ng Mui, one of the legendary Five Elders of the Shaolin temple – the survivors of the destruction of the Shaolin Temple during the Qing Dynasty. Even though Ng Mui created the art, it is named after her disciple, Yim Wing Chun, because of her improvements to the art. Her life was depicted in the film Wing Chun from 1994, with Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) in the role of the martial arts heroine.
So I finally watched The Social Network last night after picking it up on Blu-Ray and I thought it was a great film.

Picked Inception up on blu-ray today. Fantastic film. Very complex and I’m still trying to figure out the ending but it was very enjoyable.

Hated Inception I was bored to death watching it.
Checked out All-Star Superman very disappointed with it. The comic series was a whole lot better. They left out a lot of the good parts.Also quite disappointed that the new X-Men movie isnt looking so good

Funny how they brought the doc back in this one and he was in on the killings after his experience.
Lame.And I agree if the ended with 3 it would of been perfect but it is all about money at the end of the day. Each movie made a nice amount at the box office.
I wouldnt be surprised if they made another one eventually. Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter???? How many sequels after that one were there.War.

Saw Hobo With a Shotgun.
Loved it. Very good grindhouse movie. If you liked the mainstream grindhouse movies like Machete, Dead Proof and Planet Terror chances are good you will like it.
Movie was full of blood and gory.
Really only one scene kind of was too much and if you see the movie you will probably know what I am talking about.
Filming was done in Nova Scotia.
If you saw Grindhouse you might remember this as one of the fake trailers. This is the second fake trailer that was made into a movie. Machete was the first,If anyone knows any good grindhouse type movies let me know.

Went to see Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides last night.
I actually really enjoyed it. I wasn’t a fan of Dead Man’s Chest or At World’s End because it made no sense, but the plot in the new film was less convoluted.
Johnny Depp is still fantastic as Captain Jack Sparrow. Such a terrific character. Penelope Cruz is soooooo fucking hot.The 3D was shit, but all in all the film was pretty good

Last movie I seen was Thor.
Wasn’t expecting much since I was never into Thor comics and the character. But the movie was alright but I hated that they made him mostly powerless for the whole movie.War.

Hangover 2 was the last movie I seen and I dont recommend it. Exactly same shit as the first one with some differences.
