Well you knew it was a matter of time and that day is here. All slim PSP’s can now be modded to have custom firmware that allows the usage of homebrew and backups on PSP 3000 handhelds. The process to install the custom firmware seems pretty easy. My interest has just peaked on whether the rumors are true that Sony will indeed by announcing a new PSP model at E3 next month to combat this.

I was thinking of buying a new PSP but i’ve decided to wait to see if Sony announce the new one at E3.
