Many gamers have been eagerly awaiting the next game from developer Q-Games, the minds behind the PixelJunk series of downloadable titles. We’ve been told that Q-Game’s next project, PixelJunk Eden, will be available on the PlayStation Store tomorrow. Originally scheduled for an “early August” release, it looks like Eden is ready to be enjoyed by PS3 owners looking for a surreal platforming experience.

PixelJunk Eden puts you in control of a small creature called a Grimp. By jumping from plant to plant in an abstract 2D garden, you gather pollen and coax more plants to grow, helping you reach new heights. By collecting glowing symbols of light — called Spectra — you expand your garden and bring more life into your own personal Eden. The game will feature vivid ambient sound, three-player co-op, Trophy support and YouTube connectivity.

Eden will be available for $9.99 and will be included in tomorrow’s normal PSN update, which usually goes live sometime in the afternoon (Pacific Standard Time).

Bought it this afternoon and it had me hooked for 2 hours straight, and that was just on the first level.
Seriously man, this game is highly addictive and should be played.
I haven’t unlocked any trophies yet, but i’m getting closer.
Don’t go into this game thinking it’s a walk in the park because believe me it’s not. Just like Super Stardust HD, it will frustrate you, but you’ll want to keep playing.
