Got the Red Dead Rockstar trophy tonight.
I killed somebody in free roam who already had it.Lol some dude was getting proper fresh with me. A few people had joined a posse but I was going about my own business completing the challenges and I crept up on this one dude and I heard him over the mic begging me not to shoot him, I thought fuck this and blew his head off with a shotgun lol. Then he started getting all abusive and shit.
05/28/2010 at 10:44 am #45052Damn I’m getting addicted to this game, however something has just pissed me off. I’m doing a mission for an inventor and one of the things I have to do is collect 10 red sage flowers for him which can be found in the Rio Bravo area. So I went, collected 9 of them, just about to get the last one and I got pounced on by a fucking Couger lol, which killed me. The game then restarted me back at Thieves Landing which is miles away and I lost all the flowers I had collected, which took me the best part of an hour to find.
I’m thinking this was another glitch because the same thing happened again only this time I was restarted in the area I died and still had all the flowers I had already found. Crazy. Is there an easier way of finding these flowers as it seems to take forever to locate them. I know a little blip appears on your map when you are in close proximity of one but I find myself running round like a headless chicken trying to locate them lol.

Lol thanks Szuter, guess I’ll do it the hard way then coz I’m trying to get the trophy for gaining $10,000. Think I’m only at about $4000. Trying to earn as much money as possible.

I’m saying it’s bitch trying to locate them in the area because it’s only when you are in a close proximity to them that a little blip will appear on your map. Until then you are just running around the fields looking. It’s not like there are thousands in that little area. There isn’t that many and they are all spread out, so you literally have to troll through every inch or land looking for them.
05/28/2010 at 3:04 pm #45058lol. I just stop when i see them on the side of the road as I ride by on my horse.
But on another note I find the game really really relaxing. Riding around on the horse the music and just the overall pace. Also the sound design is great. The guns all sound perfect …the ricochet sounds etc.. and the music in general and the ambient sounds are all great.
Its about as close to an RPG as I can get in terms of pace. Any less action and I would be bored. lol. it is much more fun in expert aiming mode and scat I ahve the rockstar wanted trophy as well :p
Every time I boot it up at LEAST an hour passes by sometimes two and it doesnt feel long.

We will continue to investigate any and all issues people may be having including the ones this update aims to fix. Thank you all for your patience and understanding as we work through this stuff. This fix addresses a specific issue that was found where the player’s multiplayer avatar, their horse or their weapons would occasionally not be visible in multiplayer games as well as an issue that some players were experiencing where they would lose connection to the various multiplayer modes.
To apply the update on PlayStation 3:
You must be signed into a valid PlayStation Network ID and be connected to the PlayStation Network before starting the game up. If those two conditions are met, your PS3 will automatically download the update in the background and the game will apply the fixes when you start or join a multiplayer session. To apply the update on Xbox 360:

This is a new patch. The first was server side and this is downloaded to your system when you start the multiplayer mode.
