I’m not sure how many people on this site have bought this game yet apart from me and Jim, but if you own a DS then this is MUST BUY!!!!!
I’ll be the first to tell you that GTA IV is the most overrated game of all time and was in the end a piece of shit compared to other games in the series, but this game is soooooooooooo much fun.
First of all the game looks incredible. God knows how they have packed so much detail onto the DS cart but they have done one heck of a job.
Like GTA IV one of things that has impressed me the most is the subtle things you can see whilst going round the game world.
Take for example the railway lines, if you’re happening to drive under one whilst a train is coming the game screen will shake. Another for me is when the in game weather changes and you see the people on the streets take out their umbrellas. Tiny things like that really make me appreciate how much polish has gone into this game.
Gameplay is GTA through and through and makes great use of the DS Stylus. In the console versions you can easily steal any car with the tap of a button, whereas in this version the game makes you work to earn that car. If the car is parked up you will be required to maybe hot wire the car or enter the security code. As i said you do all this using the Stylus so it sort of feels like a tool which is great and it never takes you out of the experience.
Missions are short and sweet because this is a portable and is designed to be a pick up and play game, and it is just that. The game auto saves after every mission so if you on a road trip and it’s coming to an end you don’t need to worry about finding a save point if you have just finished a mission.
Now this isn’t a full review. I’m hopefully gonna ge doing that when i finish the game but i’m only about 4 hours into it and there is a hell of a long way to go.
I just wanted to make this thread to see if we can get more people playing the game on the site.

I love stealing parked cars in game.
Also you can make your own Molotov at the gas station
You can also buy scratch tickets and actually scratch them yourselves
And like you said about the detail in the game is really amazing.
I even enjoy the radio stations. Its just music but its really good plus there is production by the Alchemist
I havent gone too far into since I am really addicted to Pokemon right now and I also am playing Chrono Trigger but I can say this game is really great

Infact i tried to check out that feature yesterday but i wasn’t sure if you can only have local multiplayer games, coz i couldn’t seem to find anyone to play with, and i can’t see absolutely no one in the world playing the game at the moment.

right jim, what you need to do is start up your game and when you’re in your safehouse log onto your laptop.
You will be able to get your friend code from there at the top of the screen.
Then go outside and start up your pda.
Click multiplayer and then scroll to Nintendo Wi-Fi connection. Go in there then click on friend roster and then add friend.
