how they ban Ganandorf but what bout Capt. Falcon ???
I do not want Trophies, Money or not even a title saying I am number "1". You can have your cheap trophies, paper titles, and dingy headbands. 09/07/2007 at 8:31 pm #17062Dorf is slower then Capt.F but all his moves are more powerful, and since Up B was his quickest attack, and dealt a lot of damage they banned it, you could still use it just you’d be DQ’d.

Yeah that Pokemon idea was DOPE at the time, and a pretty creative invention for an already creative game.
But still SSBM tournaments are no fun to me. Enless there ones with friends, lol.
Theres always those nerds that live and breath it and are GODS at the game.
They even fucking banned Ganandorf basically {all those who chose him weren’t aloud to use his Up B attack}
Even though I’m not a fan of the Dorfman that’s still a bitch move, lol.
What do you expect though? Some characters are easier to master and be sick at. I bet anyone who wins a tourney could win it with another character, but if you enter you will pick a character that your the MOST confident in.
None the less I consider myself one of the best non-nerd players of the game, and come SSBB I will try and prove it too you:p

thats true about people using some one they already know our school actually held a tournament for a couple of games and we had smash i joined and there was a lot of people it was 4 way matchs and i won the first 3 cuase they were ass(my best char is falco/luigi/samus)but i lost to a shiek user:( and her annoying punch lol
yesterday i went into a eb games store and saw a one of the smash brother box art on it and it had a sticker that said online enabled but the guy said he didnt know if it was a offical yet if it goes online I(who is also a non nerd) will pwn
and the music idea is better this time
but im hoping they make ganon moveset a lot better and at least let him use his sword or transform since hes based of twilight princess

yeah they banned fox reflctor and certain edge hogging moves
09/07/2007 at 10:13 pm #17066Yeah i remmeber in Melee they showed him with the sword when u won a match with him, I walways wondered why they ddin’t enclude it, or atleast his famous energy bolts from the ending of LOZ:OT.
Only tourney I’ve done was with a bunch of friends, we all got two chracters to pick, if they met too mad for you u’d have to pick which character u want to kep alive, and if both ur characters make it to the finals then its the ultimate bragg rights.
I won the first tourney with Link, second with Fox, when I was link my counter-part was Mew-Two (Eliminated in semi’s) and when I was fox my counter part was Falco (Eliminated in second round)

W e def have to face but ima stick with the cube controller for a while until i get used to the games again but might try all 4 version of the controller

lol well if we face then id use the wii remote but most people are gonna stick with the gamecube controller online but ima try it lol
