Quantum of Solace is an upcoming video game powered by the Call of Duty 4 game engine based on the films Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. The game has multiplayer online modes and could hopefully with the Call of Duty 4 engine may be a great throwback to Goldeneye.

The game is planned for release November 4th, 2008. The game’s release is to coincide with the release of the newest James Bond movie Quantum of Solace. This will be the first James Bond title published by Activision; the company acquired the video game license to the James Bond franchise in 2006.

I watched the video review on ign and the game does look pretty good. Most probably have to be a rental i think.

i might consider renting, but i am not the biggest james bond fan anyway, movies or games, just don’t like the whole thing to be honest

it felt like me and scat had survived some sort of disaster that killed everybody on the site lol

so did anybody rent / buy / play this game?

will i did, i rented it, completed it relatively quickly. i didn’t really care much about the game and didn’t want to spend too much time on it, so i played it on easy, completed it practically in one day… my thoughts? it’s a very good game to be honest, it’s probably the best james bond game i’ve played since goldeneye. but, it wasn’t just quantum of solace, now i haven’t seen quantum of solace, but a lot of the game was taken from the casino royale movie, the game features Vesper (eva green, “that fit one in casino royale”) more than it features Camille (olga kurylenko, “that fit russian one from quantum and hitman”). it didn’t hurt the game at all, just didn’t think it would have stuff from casino royale in it. the engine was pretty smooth, the cover system was standard (though not a touch on gears of war), the weapons are standard but nothing special (i enjoyed doing alot of it in bond style…silenced pistol FTW)

it’s a good game, definately worth a rental, i got about 300 achievements points from it, you get an achievement for the completion of some levels, and each level has it’s own little extra achievement (like a task you do on each level…ahem, i got all of them…i pwn hehe)

rent it! i wouldn’t recommend buying it though, as you’ll finish the campaign relatively quickly…though i didn’t try the online modes, but there hasn’t been much spoken bout it so it’s probably nothing amazing

Ye i got it off my brother in law for PS3. If i’m being serious, the game blew and the only reason i asked to borrow it was because i was trophy whoring at the time.
Oh well. I didn’t even finish it.

Yeh I rented it recently and talked about it on the Podcast I think it is a really good game and I enjoyed it and recommend people to rent it or buy it at a good price

Its not bad at all. Its a decent shooter. For $9 bucks its totally worth it. Id say up to $15 is cool. I enjoyed the first level which is about all I played.
