Rented it…..hated it….nuff said….last good basketball game I played was for PS2, like Live 2004 or some shit….they keep tryin to hard to make it so realistic that it takes away from the game play and makes the game less enjoyable

2k is more fun cuz the games are usually close. nba live is too easy to blow out the other team.

in real life, teams can usually come back from 15 point deficits, and they can in nba 2k, but not in nba live

yall really like this game? I mean I prefer realism but not when it takes away from game play…the movements on the players is just so weird on 2K8, I havnt liked a sports game in awhile though…Fight night 3 was the last sports game I really liked, well…and MLB 2K7 was nice….just dont like the basketball games anymore….I actually used to have Live 07 and I think that was worse than NBA 2K8 to be honest…but Im still not a fan of the gameplay…even the player and team customization is bad

my boy has live 08 and playing it I wanted to throw it out for him. NOTHING is as smooth and crisp as NBA 08 I think BUT 2k8 is a lot more realistic and challenging, plus i don’t have a ps3 so.

I have both of those games. I let somebody borrowed 2k8 for a week to have Live 08. That game (Live 08), is ass. I like the simulation of it for Season mode, it not better than 2k8, but I hate the game play of it.
