In speaking with MTV News on Tuesday, Mattrick said that Bungie is working on a new Halo game, but that Microsoft didn’t want to announce it yet for fear of stealing thunder from their current lineup of games, including Gears of War 2.

Yesterday, Bungie blamed their publisher (now confirmed to be Microsoft) for not allowing them to announce their new game (now confirmed to be Halo related) this week.

“We were looking forward to sharing (a new game announcement) with our fan community during the week of E3,” said Bungie President Harold Ryan. “However, those plans were just changed by our publisher.”.

Halo is such an overrated game, honestly. But I hope they update the gameplay like arthur said.

yeah i agree 2 and 3 are both over-rated, to be honest they both lived off of the reputation of number 1, because in it’s day halo 1 was very very good…now though, games have come along way since then, and with no major changes from the 1st halo to the 3rd, it’s just failing to keep up with stuff like gears of war, call of duty etc etc
