I heard Konami was giving out free beta codes now on their website, because alot of people who pre odered the game and got their code, only got a 9 digit code when there is supposed to be 12 digits. So it made them invalid.

Anyway i still can’t create my ID. i’ve been trying all night.
I get half way through and then it says the server is too busy.

The site was supposed to have been undergoing maintenance yesterday, but it’s still fucked.
They must have realised by how many people who pre odered the game to get into the beta that the site would be getting hit hard, so they should have had a backup plan.
They fucked up hard on this one.
That site needs to be working properly by tomorrow or there is going to be alot of people pissed off on monday when the beta is actually playable.

So i’m gonna be able to play the game today.

Just found out that Konami has delayed the beta until further notice. They said that due to extraodinary levels of traffic from around the globe they were unable to run the service to the level they expected.

This is Metal Gear Online for christ sake, did they actually think only a few hundred people would want to take part.

They fucked up big time on this one. Complete embarrassment.
