It’s over with. Skate is now your offical and only skateboarding game that I you can play. Tony Hawk and Neversoft have seperated. It is going to be a rough breakup because they have been together since 1999. Word is that Neversoft is focusing on Guitar Hero. Sorry to see this happen, but I think Riley from the Boondock said this best.

wow, who was still buying tony hawk games? they got pretty dried up as far as i’m concerned, this happening was only a matter of time i think, this means skate might become lackluster cos there is no competetion

like the way EA sports games started to become lackluster before things like 2k sports upped there game and pro evolution dropped

Don’t think skate will become lackluster. I think Skate is a better game than all the new tony games. SKATE 2 is fuckin amazing too. Tony is the same game every year. The first few were amazing and some of the older ones had a lot more options like create a skater which Project 8 didn’t have. Tony gotta redesign the series and make it more like Skate.
