It is finally available. You can now download Halo Wars demo right now. The demo is a huge 1.4 GB. I think that is huge, I hope this game is great because it the first Halo RTS.

People forget that Halo was originally designed as an RTS.
Wow….this game…this demo, is very well polished, for a demo…I really just enjoyed the hell out of it. I’m gonna have to buy the retail release now…fuck.
But seriously, if anyone here enjoys RTS games, this one is beautiful. The graphics are vibrant and gorgeous. The controls are surprisingly good for an RTS console, it controls as good as most RTS computer games.
If you liked Starcraft, AoE, BFME you’ll love this game.
You can play through the campaign online with people or friends. There is tons of replay value with the online features and 1v1,2v2,3v3 combat. Skirmishes are fun.

You’ll probably like it if you are into RTS games at all. Or if you are a Halo fan you will still find some things to like about it. The graphics are awesome. Other than graphics though you won’t like much if you don’t like RTS elements. But the game is solid though.
I’m a big RTS fan so I’m looking at Halo Wars right now even more than RE5 and SF4, Lol, I switched my pre-order from RE5 to SF4 and now I might switch it to Halo Wars. I love the replay value in RTS games, I used to get endless hours out of starcraft, AoE and BFME, the base building is limited in HW, kinda like BFME.
Fangz we can run through this one. I was a huge fan of Star Craft and this is the closest thing I’ve seen to that franchise hands down, plus the developers of Age or Empires made this game so I know its going to be good. I’ve already reserved it.
