July 7, 2008 – The Blitz series has always been about giving players over-the-top football action while casting some of the constraints established by the NFL to the wayside by shedding the license altogether. While the first entry in the now NFL-free series was seen as mediocre by most, it had potential to be more. We recently sat down with David Friedleand, Lead Game Designer for Blitz: The League II to find out what the dirty players of the world can expect come this October.

I’ve never been a fan off those games. NFL Street is as fiction as I like it. The Blitz franchise is pointless IMO. I’m surprise they’re still around.

The last one story was wild. I didn’t care for the game play but the story had me going. Seriously, rent it for the story not for the game.

I like bro. The game is built around a franchised that down the drain. They end up picking a rookie that is you. You then have to make the team better. Players on the game get pissed at you. You can’t do nothing really about it. They sign trade a for a player that nobody likes. Your goal is to make the team from bottom of the leagues to the major league of all. If your team lose the most games then they drop to the minor leagues while the champions go into your division. I like that concept. They should do that with NBA or NFL.

Hahaha! Never. I didn’t buy Madden 08 or NBA Live 08 for that matter. I’ll wait ’til ’09. I’m growing out of both of those games very quickly. 🙁

Yeah, I tried 2k on the Dreamcast (lol). I see commercials and the graphics still look a little choppy. I might get both. IDK

Man the game play is way better, seriously last year Live have met par but didn’t make a birdie.
