Realistic boxing game coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2009.

According to the announcement made today, Fight Night Round 4 will be made using a revamped game engine to further authenticate the fighting styles, punch impacts, and blocking moves of each respective boxer, including Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali.

A newly included physics system also allows for missed jabs, glancing punches, knockout blows, and rough and tumble inside fighting.

“Fight Night Round 3 was a platform defining game as the industry transitioned to next generation consoles,” said Kevin Wilkinson, EA Sports executive producer. “Fight Night Round 4 will change how boxing games are played and measured in the future.”

Fight Night Round 4 is one of two boxing games being developed by EA Canada. The arcade-friendly Facebreaker launches on Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii this September.

Fight Night is gonna be a good game, but I dont care about Tyson anymore, he lost my respect when he started cheating when getting beat….and not just the ear incident, the match after that he was DQ’d for low blows because he was clearly getting his ass whooped, then the match after that he was DQ’d….so I dont care for it having Tyson in it…but the game will be nice cuz FN3 was nice
