50 may have caught the short end of the straw for his upcoming video game release, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, which may not see the light of day.

According to MCV (Market for Computer and Video Games), the game’s manufacturer, Vivendi UK, has suffered major losses in staff as a new merger has placed remaining workers at Activision Blizzard. Functions at the Vivendi offices have reportedly ceased leaving many games’ indefinitely placed on hold.

In addition to the highly anticipated Ghostbusters game, 50’s follow-up to his 2005 Bulletproof release is currently in talks and may not hit shelves this holiday season.

As of today, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand is still scheduled to hit stores Tuesday, November 4.
