Alright i have read the reviews and everyone is raving about this game. I just bought final fantasy got god of war 3 coming soon and im asking you guys if this game is really worth the purchase it has got a lot of competition out there.

I dont think those games really compete with this. only modern warefare omes close and this takes it to the next level in my opinion at least.

Im going to take your word for it and cop this game. I’ll know the caliber of the game as soon as i get the first rifle. Call of duty has a very visceral feel to it some of the stages actually gave me flashbacks because they felt so real. Im going to bestbuy tomorrow to get this. ill let you know my take on it.

Just watch the videos I posted in this thread. That will give you a taste of what to expect but the variety is sick. Battlefield is waaaaaaaay more visceral than MW2 for sure so you love it I have no doubt. Try the rush multiplayer mode before squad deathmatch. Thats the most like true combat I guess. The single player is squad based so it never gets as “war chaotic” as mw2 single player but the multiplayer much more than makes up for that in that department and theres more re playability in that mode anyway. Rush multiplayer mode is the all out war mode.

Game is straight up phenomenal. I just finished a 4 hour session on the multiplayer with Brook and Szuter. Damn Szuter you shouldn’t have left. Our squad was owning. We went like 5 in a row undefeated.
I’ve never played an online shooter for that long in one sitting before lol.

does this game have a story mode? I just watched the videos it seems as if this is a cross between call of duty kill zone and halo because of the vehicles. Im going to give it a chance and put final fantasy on the back burner even though that was the main reason i bought a ps3 years ago.

Yes there is a campaign but I’m only on the 2nd level. The online has taken over my life lol.

yeah the story mode is good as well. Your part of a squad (company) that gets sent on missions… save this scientist, destroy this… get that sample….etc. Its actually pretty good but of course the multiplayer is where its at moreso. Yeah thats a good assessment pretty much. Its like cross of them all… but a good combination.
