man that game was ass on the Genesis but I can say I blow bout 50 bucks in my life on that damn arcade system hahhah who else member that PUNK ASS GAME

I do not want Trophies, Money or not even a title saying I am number "1". You can have your cheap trophies, paper titles, and dingy headbands. Game was hard as hell. Around 14 years after i first played it and i still haven’t been able to complete it.
I was recently able to play it again on the Sega Mega Drive collection for the PSP.

yeah this game was sick. graphics were crazy! oh yea wasn’t it altered beast not alter beast? i could be wrong though.

yea… it was Altered Beast…

man the cut scene when you got the powerup was sick… with the fire and shit

it was so funny when your in a battle with 2 players and your so into the game you dont even notcie the other person get the PU and then the cut scene comes and your mashing the buttons HARD for no reason… lol
