Say im new to this but not the 360. I copped the 360 some 6 weeks ago and i suffered the three rings of death Why is that? Im considering switching to that PS3 because who’s to say this wont happen with another one. I got high hopes for my 360 cause i copped NCAA 08, saints row(gotta go shooter)Gears of war and want that halo 3, all of those are great fro online.

Is anyone else having this issue i need some help ya’ll cause i heard microsoft is bleeding money for this and extended the warranties as a way to make for some 300 to 400 dollars spent in faith. Help a brotha out

i havent had the problem myself but a few friends of mine have . as far as why it happens , i really dont know but i read that they extended the warranty to 3yrs now so if they can’t fix it they will replace it with a new one .

I bought a used one so that might contribute to the issue. You think gmaestop will give me a new one for the trade in they f’d up

it happend to a friend i work with and he called them… they sent him a box to ship it in and then they sent him a new one (with upgraded HDD)

so although it is a huge problem, they seem to be ontop of fixing it in order to keep thier clients

the 3 yr warranty comes from microsoft tho , not gamestop… im not sure what the policy is on used consoles but maybe you could find something about it here .

The only thing is i dont wanna lose my hard drive because i got a shitload of memory on there and id have to beat saints row all over again, So can i trade it in without my HDD or should i have gotten a Memory card

Thanks for the link, gmaestop gave me a year warranty so i got until next sept. How do you get the microsoft warranty

you can probably ask them about the harddrive… or, i think you can copt the files to your computer if you set it up on a network (which is done if you have xbox live)… but im not 100% on that

If you got the red rings just call microsoft at 1-800-4myxbox and they will take care of you, and don’t rip graduation to your shit because me and my brothers 360s got fucked up because of that

man if u only got three rings then that just means u don’t have a cable plugged in properly make sure all ur connections are right and then try again……..

its a complete red ring that leaves u fukked…..

Big homie i tried that, i tried everything thinkable. I called microsoft or xbox and did what you just said and i was still fuck like a porn star in prison. But im going to houston to get g’d up 4 my bday so why not weasel a new xbox out my warranty

its just a lack of power being supplied by your outlet.

try a different outlet to plug your xbox into. thats what i did…

Still 3 lefts from making the right move;)...
