Lets face it people, 2009 is shaping up to be one heck of year for Fighting games.
We have already seen the incredible Street Fighter IV being released this year and with even more games coming out in the next few months.
We will be seeing games likeKing of Fighters XII
Tekken 6
BlazBlue
Marvel vs Capcom 2and a Fatal Fury type game has just been released on the XBLA.
I don’t know about you but i have spent alot of time playing Fighting games this year. More than i have for a long time.
I’ll be hoping to buy all the above games i mentioned.So what is your take on this wave of fighting games we are getting recently?

Personally fighting games where a genre that I rarely ever played expect for Street Fighter 2 on SNES other than that I never really played others expect for some here and there. More recently I spend lots of time with HD Remix and even more with Street Fighter IV. Can’t wait to try out BlazBlue still not sure if its gonna be a rental or a purchase so far I am more likely to just to rent it and same goes with KOF XII. Marvel vs Capcom 2 I will be getting for sure on 360. I just played Mark of the Wolves and I am probably not getting it since BlazBlue and KOF VII are just around the corner but I might change my mind if a few people get it I might consider it. I am enjoying fighting games more than ever

I think the sheer amount of games and good ones at that coming out is going to fuck it all up for me.
Case in point:
Uncharted 2 is coming out this fall, so is ratchet and clank future 2, the motorstorm DLC, and so is the wipeout fury pack. Plus games I wannna run through again. MGS4, uncharted 1, ninja gaiden2 (or sigma2)…
and games I gotta still beat… little big planet, half life series, bioshock…
The content I just mentioned is waaaay more than enough to keep me busy. Then consider the time it takes to actually get decent at these fighting games and my limited time to play games with work and ladies and and I realize that im fucked from a time standpoint.
So out of these games my hoe’ish ass will probly buy all of them and only really play one enough to justify the purchase. :rolleyes:

I’ll get it on whatever system the majority is buying it on, which i presume will be 360.
