The patch will bring the game to Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition version 2012.
At a panel at fighting game tournament Evo 2011, Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono said location tests for the updated version will be held in major Japanese cities towards the end of the summer.
Arcade Edition, which launched on home console earlier this year, came under fire from some fans for upsetting the finely-tuned balance of the character roster.
New character Yun in particular is singled out as being overpowered. Many established characters saw nerfs with the release of the game.

I wonder if they will add one new character and one new stage and call it Ultimate Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and release it for another $40 lol.
