Gears of War 2 is better than CoD: WaW in every way possible. WaW has no story so I don’t know how anyone can say they like it for the story. And the online multiplayer is boring and repetitive. It’s the same thing as CoD 4… Gears 2 is still more squad based and more team work involved.
Don’t listen to the haters, it just takes some getting used to. But definatly more fun if you have a full team of friends to play with.
Left 4 Dead is great for about 20 hours or so, but after awhile you will get bored of the same missions over and over, I’m thinking about trading it in. Still, its a better choice than world at war.
But Gears 2 and Fallout 3 won’t be leaving my collection like CoD: WaW and probably L4D.
NOBODY I repeat NOBODY is playing Gears of War 2 anymore. It has no replay value beyond horde mode which gets lame as hell after you try it twice. If replay value matters to you don’t buy it. And yes, COD does have a story…as a matter of fact its hi-story. The game is based on actual historical events which I think makes it even more of an accomplishment in gaming. They re-created actual events from the lesser known (yet equally important) battles fought during WWII. Also, the multiplayer is HOT, once you get over the NOOB learning curve. Lets keep it real…who the hell is still playing Gears???
