So last night i got an idea for a video to make about SFIV which can be somewhat informative and interesting. If I could almost be 100% sure of this TWO out of maybe out of all the characters i hear and complain about being “cheap” are Zangief and Blanka.
Just for the record I’m not making this video to complain or bitch about them just got curious and see why most people complained about this and see if its in fact “fair” and to see everyones opinion about these as well.
The reason (from what i know) why they say this is because
1. Zangief’s move “Double Larait” can pretty much dodge/counter Ultra’s. So i decided to try out all the characters to see just how many Ultra’s he can dodge with that move and the result was pretty interesting. My opinion for this is I think that they should at least make “Double Larait” changed to ONLY dodge projectile based Ultra’s instead of Hit based ones. For example look at the video and watch E.Honda’s Ultra as it does no contact and just floats for a second then gets hit.
I want to hear your guys opinion on this and tell me if Capcom should fix this or not or if its just fine the way it is.
2. Blanka’s Ultra: People say that this move is just wayyyy tooo overpowered so i put it to the test and took Ryu,Sagat, and Akuma. The results i got where :
With taking the most to least (FULL ULTRA BTW)
1. Akuma with almost 75% of damage
2. Ryu with just about 70%
3. Sagat with maybe 65-70% off the health bar
I also even did Akuma’s Ultra to see if it would deal just about the amount of damage but it turned out that Blanka does a little bit more (as shown in the video) But i feel that Akuma can do this ability to deal this much because since he does play like a handicapped character with Dealing alot of damage but also enduring alot (Same goes with El Fuerte his Ultra does alot of damage too but takes hits like a bitch xD) as well so i feel it would just make sense that he can. So i think that maybe then can reduce the damage of the ultra or maybe change the how much damage Blanka can take either one would be fine in my opinion.
Again opinions are welcomed i want to know what you guys think about this!
