Tekken lovers will be pleased. The game has not lost any of the flair that has made it one of the best fighting game series around. After playing it I can also understand why its one of the most popular fighting games in Japan at the moment. The game includes 40 characters consisting of 36 classic and 6 brand new characters. On the console version you will be able to create your own characters and take them online against friends. The characters and stages look great and the stages feature destructible environments.

The worst part of the console package is certainly the Scenario Campaign Mode. The campaign mode is horrible and feels tacked on. It’s reminiscent of a Streets of Rage type of game where waves of enemy’s come on the screen and you have to beat them up to take them out. I don’t know any Tekken fans who will truly care about this mode so it seems like a waste of time and effort on the developers part. This mode does provide single player or two player
online co-op play though its so generic I dont think many will spend much time playing the mode. Still fans will be pleased. If you love Tekken you must buy this game.
