New Super Mario Bros. Wii Hands-On Impressions
So Nintendo didn’t listen to us and didn’t announce the Pokemon MMO which I think would have been a MEGATON home run. They did announce a new side scrolling Super Mario Bros. game similar to their Nintendo DS offering from a couple years back. I was able spent some time with the game.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom Coming Stateside?
So word on the interwebs this morning is that a leaked Nintendo Power scan shows that Capcom’s Tatsunoko vs Capcom game is coming to the US. This is still not confirmed but it looks like it could be legit. Wii Update Adds SD Card As Storage Solution
This update is available now and allows Wii owners users the ability to use up to 32GB SD cards as storage space. A new SD Card menu is accessible from the Wii Menu. Wii games can be launched directly from SD cards though they will be copied to system memory automatically before it runs. Of course this new update breaks all homebrew. For now. Source: NeoGAF
Punch-Out!! To Feature Balance Board Support
Apparently Nintendo’s official Italian (Its-a-me!) website has spilled the beans about the ability to use the Wii Fit balance board to dodge and weave in the game by players shifting their weight. Source: Punch-Out!! Gets Balance Board Support

Punch-Out!! Bringing 2 Player Modes… Head Explodes!
Nintendo sure does know how to make an offer you can’t refuse. According to the UK Nintendo website, Punch-Out!! will include a Head-to-Head multiplayer mode. Its also good to know that you can hold the Wii remote sideways like a NES controller to play the game.

Rick Ross NOT In Ready 2 Rumble Revolution

Yeah Right: Nintendo Says Punchout Wii Coming First Half 2009
According to an article published on Videogamer.com, the new Punch Out!! will be released the first half of 2009 in Europe and here in the US. I think the game will be pushed back. But hey lets hope I am wrong. My Wii is getting dusty.
Teenage Mutuant Ninja Turtles Fighting Game Confirmed
According to GamerSyde this new game will be called “TMNT: Smash Up” a 4 player Wii exclusive fighting game. It looks a bit like Smash Bros Brawl.
