Sony is hooking up Metal Gear Solid players with a free downloadable interactive application that contains info on all things Metal Gear Solid. This is great news because just yesterday I was watching this GameTrailers Metal Gear retrospective and was surprised at the enormous amount of back story.

Playstation 3 firmware update (v2.36) Available, Fixes PSX Titles
A new firmware update for the PS3 is now available. This update does not offer in game XMB access but apparently the next update will include in-game XMB along with a new Xbox Live achievement like feature called “trophies.”
