Avatars Coming to Xbox 360
Also announced at today’s E3 showing Microsoft shows its version of the Wii’s Mii system. I guess now with Playstation’s Home, and Nintendo’s Mii’s every system will have its take on second life. The Xbox folks emphasized the “stylized realistic” look of their avatars. These Avatars will be integrated into the new Xbox 360 dashboard.
Portal Still Alive Confirmed For Xbox Live Arcade
More Portal goodness from Valve in the form of downloadable content has been confirmed at E3 today by Microsoft. Additional levels of Portal called “Portal Still Alive” will be hitting XBLA.
New Xbox 360 Dashboard Style Confirmed
During the Microsoft E3 presentation today Microsoft showed the new upcoming Xbox 360 dashboard style. The style looks like cover flow from Apples iPods & iTunes.
Wii Motion Plus Wiimote Attachment Announced
Nintendo just announced a new Wii add-on that is supposed to add refined motion tracking providing a true 1:1 response in game play. Xbox 360 Price Cut, 60GB Console Confirmed
The rumored Xbox 360 price cut has been confirmed by Microsoft. The Xbox 360 20GB will drop in price by about $50. The new Gene Expansion pack for Metal Gear Online is coming soon. Meryl and Akiba will be available to use in the game but they will be randomly allocated to a player taking part in a game in which their use has been enabled.
New Punch-Out!! with Motion Controls??
There are new posts around the interwebs that speak of a possible New Punch-out game for Wii that uses the Wii balance board for dodging and also uses the Wiimote and Nunchuck for punching. Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Playable at 2008 EVO Finals in Vegas
Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes will be playable at the EVO 2008 finals in Las Vegas next month. Hopefully this playtest in the states may lead to or mean that a U.S. and European version of the game is in the works.
