It seems that Master Chief and company are back taking the number one spot last week as Halo 3 was the most played Xbox Live title for the week ending 7/21/08. Interesting stuff indeed considering no new maps or big updates were launched for Halo 3 and considering Call of Duty 4 has dominated for months. According to a vague post on the official Playstation blog: Just wanted to give everyone a quick heads up that a PS3 firmware update (v2.42) is now available for download. This update improves the playback quality of some PLAYSTATION 3 and PlayStation format software. Some, or even any specifics would be appreciated next time. Thanks!

Red Faction: Guerilla seems to be aiming to take destructible environments in games to the next level. Oddly enough we were talking about the original Red Faction game in our last podcast.
