nah man. the battle system is different. its like tatsunoko vs capcom. So basically three attack buttons.
So if your using a six button (old school street fighter layout) my favorite.

the punches and kicks are consolidated into the attack buttons. Most of the characters use street fighter motions for their special moves and also for super moves so as long as you pick a few and keep using them you willl catch on really quick. Honestly at events when I played I kicked ass. I just tested classic street fighter moves and most worked. (charge moves, shoto moves or reverse shoto moves)
plus most people will be scrubs with you since it wont be as much like part 2 as 1 was like 2
