Just watched hip-hop honours def jam special. It was meh, some decent performances, others were pretty weak, for example.
Ok, you bring out Warren G to perform Regulators, which is one of my all time fave tracks, but you also bring out Trey Songz to fill in for Nate Dogg, but yet you still got Nate on the backing track overpowering Trey, so I’m like WTF Son? What was the point in trey even being there.
Second I found it hilarious when JaRule and Ashanti came out to perform Down 4 U and Always On Time that there were only a few women in the audience with their hands up. You seen all the dudes just stood there and you know they were thinking….. C’Mon son, you show up at a Def Jam tribute and be singing r’n’b son, get the fuck outta here with that bushit.

Hip-hop is just boring to me these days. It’s like So What, I don’t give a fuck about how much money you got and what jewllery you be wearing. Man I be over here broke as fuck and you want me to spend money on your shit just to here you brag………….C’MON SON!!!!!!!
