This is great news. I absolutely loved the original Uncharted game even though I beat the game before the damn trophy patch. In any case this new Game Informer magazine is supposed to feature 10 pages on Uncharted 2 and apparently the game will add a free climbing mechanic and stealth gameplay. Uncharted 2 Tactical Espionage action?
The test were run and the verdict is in. SRK resident tech genius Toodles ran tests to finally get to the bottom of ongoing speculation about wireless joysticks and their performance as compared to wired joysticks. Most contend that wireless joysticks are not reliable enough (due to wireless latency etc.) to use for fighting games. Partially due to my instigation in a thread at SRK Toodles got the...[Read More]

An update to Wipeout HD has been released and while it seems to have caused a few new bugs that may be related to some not yet having the patch its a welcome update. When the patch was first released on Friday I had issues with my PS3 freezing up on the “waiting on x” screen (lower right in pic above) before a match. That seems to have been fixed as I think it was those without the pat...[Read More]
I figured I would wrap up all the legal related stories on one tight neat post. Capcom recently won their case against the Producer of George A. Romero’s Dawn of the Dead who sued Capcom claiming that Dead Rising ripped the Dawn of the Dead film. I guess this is likely to mean that we will see the rumored Dead Rising 2 in the future at some point. Sony recently lost a patent lawsuit to Agere...[Read More]

This morning I was greeted to an email from Playstation giving me access to the Playstation Home beta because I downloaded the free Playstation Home Theme in the PSN Store a few months ago. I downloaded the beta and as you can see in the image below I could not get in. Hopefully by this afternoon it will be all good. I think it may take a few hours for them to process my registration before I can ...[Read More]
