Punchout Wii Announced
Nintendo just announced Punch Out for Wii at the Nintendo Press Conference. No details were given but you can bet your ear ass that Mike Tyson won’t be in it.
Wii SD Card Downloads Coming… Eventually
In classic case of better late than never, Nintendo finally announced that beginning in Spring 2009 Japanese Wii owners will be able to download directly from WiiWare and the Virtual Console to SD cards. No word on when this will come to the west.
Nintendo Announces New DSi Portable
Move over DS lite, Nintendo has just announced the DSi which will be the successor to the DS Lite. This new portable will still play DS games but will have a screen that a quarter of an inch larger (17% bigger), 4mm wider and about 2 mm thinner. This new unit will no longer play Gameboy advance game and will feature a SD memory card slot and .3 megapixel (640×480) camera.
Force Unleashed DLC To Bring Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan
This fall DLC for the Star Wars Force Unleashed game will bring Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, KI-Adi-Muni, Kit Fisto, and Lord of Evil Things as added characters. Also a new full mission will also be released via DLC this fall.
New Street Fighter II HD REMIX Videos Show More Characters
Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD REMIX was fully playable at the recent Gamespot Tournament Casuals in San Francisco. Here are some video clips that shows some of the other characters in action. Word is circulating that the new issue of PSM3 magazine confirms that Uncharted 2 is now in development and may be released next year. Stay tuned.
