So I got back from the Playstation Holiday Preview.
First off the damn music was to loud.
I dont want to hear Lil Wayne or Party Rock I wanna listen to what Nate or Scully have to say. I wanna hear the soundtrack to the different games. But enough with me bitching.
First of I played Uncharted 3. Wanted to get the big stuff out of the way first. So this is the level I played.
They also had the cargo plane level. With Uncharted 3 it is what I expect nothing less or more. Game is going to be fantastic. Looked great played great. Cant wait for it.
Next I checked out the PSVita and was a bit disappointed. But it all has to do with the game I was put on. They had LittleBigPlanet, something Escape game, another title that I cant remember and Sound Shapes the game I played.
Its not a bad game but I wanted Uncharted,or LBP, I would of even settled for Wipeout. The game was simple and relaxing, You rolled around collect circles which created music. I Created a basic level in the game and it was cool expending the items using the touch controls on the back of the device. Since it has a touch screen as well it was easy to create the level. Lots of different instrument are available to do music with. Weight was great very light. At the end I got sticker put on me saying “I touched a PSVita” wore that like a badge of honor.
Next was the Street Fighter X Tekken. Took some footage of that. That will be up later. I couldnt enjoy it. I never played Tekken or Street Fighter with a PS3 controller and it was just uncomfortable. Never played Tekken so I didnt even know who to pick so I went with a SF Team with Sagat and Ken. Also I havent been following the game much and I didnt know that you are allowed only one K.O. on your team not both fighters. Lastly I didnt know how to change between the fighters. Lost the match 2 rounds to 1.
Capcom also had Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom but I skipped that.
Played a few minutes of Rage and jumped off. Wasnt impressed with it. Didnt look or feel fun. I will probably rent this since I am interested in this game but the part I was on didn’t catch my interest plus I wanted to play some unreleased stuff.
Next was probably my game of the evening. Journey. Environments are plain for the most part but look amazing. While playing this it reminded me of Flower. Funny cause when I looked it up it was the same producer. Really confused on what it is going on. But bring back cloth to life like video said. Wished I was part of the Beta which happened months ago. I am picking this up day 1.
I tried that personal 3D viewer. Didn’t care for it. I just couldnt focus playing a video game with it on. I played MotorStorm with it on. I kept crashing and wasnt focusing on the bottom of the screen which meant I was screwing up.
I think thats about it.
