Yeah all of the Madcatz joysticks are wired. The only joysticks that are not are the Wii ones and The Tekken 6 Joystick that came out recently.
The quality on these are not as good as the Madcatz tournament sticks.
Finkle is my dude from Toronto who made most of my cases. he built the cases and I wired up the insides. My consoles are in a different room from my big hdtv so at the time I needed wireless.
Now I have a usb to cat5b to usb run by my couch so its not an issue but then it was. Long story might have mentioned it on the podcast if not ill mention it next week.
He doesn’t have a website and if you do order from him it takes up to 6 months to get your order but his prices are great and you can get just about anything you want.
