well you need to look at TV’s and surround recievers on a model by model basis. If you find a deal… write the model number down and look up the specs and reviews online. Then do a search against the model number on the http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/ website. They have a thread for just about every model and provides good insight.
You want a TV with a high contrast ratio and a “as is”, “just scan” or “picture processing off” option so that you can display the game signal as is (without lag from image processing. Also a game mode is good to have as well but “as is” is better.
