On the main menu for Metal Gear 4 there should be an option saying “Metal Gear Online”
Click on that and it will then take you to a separate menu. You will then be asked to download and install the update. Whilst it’s doing this you will need to sign up for a “Konami ID”. You can do this through the ingame webpage after the update has finished or do it during on your normal pc or laptop.

Once all that is done you will be asked to create your character and add their specialist skills. Then you’re ready to jump in the games.
I think it will be good for us to get a proper clan going on this game but note that you have to have had about 20 hours playtime in the online mode before that option is available, so everyone get playing :^:
