Confirmed: Yoda, Vader Unlockable In Soul Calibur 4

In a move that’s tad bit shy of douchery (made up word), Namco has just announced that Yoda will be unlockable in the PS3 version of Soul calibur 4 and Darth Vader will be unlockable in the Xbox 360 version of Soul Calibur 4. Douchery because Soul Calibur IV director Katsutoshi Sasaki previously stated that ‘they don’t have plans’ to release the extra characters as DLC. I am almost certain that the DLC will be a small unlock key which may just prove that both Vader and Yoda were on both discs the whole time. As of right now the news points to a Japanese release at 600 yen for Yoda and 400 points to unlock Darth Vader…. read more…

Rumor circulated that this was going to happen along time ago, right when the game came out. I believe we talked about that on Podcast when Space couldn’t beat the Apprentice.

I rented this for 360 and Yoda was already a character I could select from the beginning
