i jus noticed we dont have a thread for the superbowl on this forum. anyway i wanted to get everyones opinions and maybe tonite or tomorow morning/afternoon we could get a little madden tournament goin

im a jets fan but want to see the giants win. i think they have a shot, if eli has a good game. a good game from eli (like 3 or 4 touchdowns and 0-2 interceptions) will give the giants a chance to win. the media says if eli does good the giants can get the upset. i do not underestimate the patriots so i say even if eli has a good game, it will still be a hard game for the giants edit: (continuing the sentence) but if eli has a bad game, the giants cannot win

I think the Giants can win. Hell, I hope they do win. I hate the Patriots…lol

The Giants can win if they can run the ball. Seriously, the biggest running back every is on the Giants.

Well it’s half time and the patriots are leading 7-4.
The giants have been all over them though.
Not really understanding the rules of the game.
There just seems to be too much stopping and starting and no flow to the game.

Shit Telecast in Espanol. I don’t speak Spanish but understand what the fuck they are saying. Shit hilarious. I wasn’t watching the TV and knew that they had a huge pass gain. WTF

sorry I meant the patriots were leading 7-3. However the giants have now took the lead and are up 10-7. I want the giants to win coz they have been the better team and its always good to have the underdogs win.

I was happy the giants won. They seemed to want it more and played better.
For my first Superbowl experiance it was ok, but nothing compared to watching the final of the World Cup, FA Cup or Champions League.
Maybe i would have enjoyed it more if i understood the rules.

i aint gonna trip about u not knowin the rules cuz it IS an american sport (its one love but ask me about soccer or “football” and wed be clueless also) but this superbowl was mad good, especially the second half. if u just listen to the commentators or even the fans in the stadium, u can pick up on when to be excited

usually (with the exception being the superbowl) halftime is 15 minutes (equal to the length of one quarter) and theres no live musical entertainment. idk how they do it at every stadium but at giants stadium they bring out like some kind of dog trainer and him throwin frisbees around the field for the dog to chase after or more commonly they have kids do a football scrimmage
